When I first heard that there would be a third book, I wasn’t thrilled.

After I finished the second one which was supposed to be the last, I was actually one of those who demanded Jenny Han to write one more. To me, Lara Jean and Peter’s time in P.S. I Love You was too short.

But Jenny Han said that it’s supposed to be only two books.

Fortunately, she changed her mind.

I still had my doubts. I was afraid that it would ruin my love for the series. Some stories should end when they’re supposed to. *cough* The Selection *cough*

While I can’t say that it ruined my love for the series, it’s a book I loved a little less than the first two. But nevertheless, I enjoyed it immensely.

To me, it was like a long epilogue, the closure we all needed.

I believe this will only appeal to fans of the series, those who would love to read more of Peter and Lara Jean’s story.

What I loved most about this book is that it made me feel nostalgic. It brought me back to my days in high school when growing up seemed scary and exciting. The good old days when some of us only cared about our grades and how we are perceived by society when we didn’t know there was a lot in store for us in the future.

The reason why I like this series is probably that I identify with Lara Jean. And of course, who could forget Peter Kavinsky? Although in some ways he is immature (give the guy some credit, he is still in high school), he is the sweetest and Lara Jean is indeed lucky to have him.

Well, I guess this is really the end of Peter and Lara Jean’s story. I admit that when I read the last page, I almost didn’t want it to end.

Goodbye, Lara Jean and Peter! It was a great journey.
